Build your own strength training plan
8 week program with Julia Schindel, Physical Therapist & Precision Nutrition Coach
Create your own workout plan with the guidance of an expert and former collegiate athlete.
The real takeaway here is learning the foundations of exercise, nutrition, and recovery so that you can independently progress and modify your own plan without needing to rely on anyone else.
This program is for the women who feel overwhelmed by the volume of health and wellness info online, making it near impossible to know where to start, or what's relevant to your body.
Work with someone who takes the time to explain the science behind every recommendation, validates your experience, and collaborates with you to build flexible plans that fit your lifestyle.
Join a small supportive group of like-minded women to feel confident in the gym, or any workout you choose.
We start Tuesday, June 2nd at 7:30pm. Hope to see you there!
Learn the research behind which health recommendations actually apply to you so you can eliminate the online noise and confidently focus on the habits that matter most for your personal goals.
Build a flexible, personalized plan that fits your lifestyle—whether it’s a home workout, a workday-friendly meal plan, or a recovery routine- this program will equip you with the tools to build your plan.
Surround yourself with people on the same journey where you feel at ease, heard, and encouraged as we all work toward better health together
Meet your coach
Dr. Julia is an experienced orthopedic physical therapist and the clinic director at the Williamsburg location of House of Physical Therapy. As a former collegiate level gymnast, marathoner, and active member of The Yard Gym Williamsburg, she practices what she preaches daily when it comes to physical activity.
Noticing that there was a gap in her patients - as well as her own - understanding of nutrition and recovery habits for recreational athletes, in 2024 Julia completed the Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coaching Certification. She chose this course specifically for its focus on evidence-based nutrition and behavior-change coaching that can be applied directly to patient care (and to her own routines!). This is now an integral part of Dr. Julia’s programming for all of her 1:1 patients receiving care at the office.
To make it more accessible to a wider range of women who could benefit from this type of coaching, we created this 2 month group wellness program to teach the principles of nutrition, exercise, and recovery. If you’ve been wanting to work with an expert to build a healthier lifestyle, this is your opportunity to receive all the benefits without the price tag of individualized sessions.

I learned so much more about the importance of exercise, nutrition, and stress management. Julia had helpful tips that were easy to add to my everyday life like how to make simple and attainable goals for ever and add veggies to each meal in a way that was not overwhelming. Julia made the information accessible and easy to understand and the small group was a great way to learn with peers. Julia facilitates conversation in which we can learn from each other and felt comfortable sharing our experiences.
The program
-
We start by getting clear on what actually matters to you; your goals, your “why,” and what’s been getting in the way. Together, we’ll learn how to break down barriers and turn big-picture goals into simple, actionable steps.
-
Learn how to build a workout routine! We’ll simplify the exercises so you understand what matters, how to structure your week, and how to adjust based on your schedule, energy, and goals. The result is a flexible plan you can stick to long-term.
-
Nutrition doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Learn how to fuel your body to support your workouts, recovery, and overall energy. You’ll leave with a simple, sustainable approach to nutrition that helps you feel stronger, recover better, and perform at your best.
-
Recovery can be the missing piece for some. We’ll cover sleep, hydration and stress management. You’ll learn how to build recovery into your routine in a way that’s practical, not perfect.
-
This dedicated time is for any individual questions and fine-tuning your approach. We’ll ensure you walk away with a clear plan you feel confident actually following.
