A note from Dr. MEGAN…

Megan DPT on a run in NYC
Megan Edwards physical therapist hiking

I grew up in a family of health care providers and witnessed first hand the fulfillment in a career founded in helping others. It wasn’t until I was a collegiate cross country and track athlete navigating my own slew of injuries did I realize I was fascinated by the rehab process. I enjoyed working with my physical therapists to not only recover, but enhance my performance capacity and longevity as a runner.

My clinical rotations ranged from inpatient spinal cord injury rehabilitation to outpatient sports orthopedics. My career has since focused on endurance athletes and runners. I am also a certified run coach (few things top cheering for a patient you’ve coached as they cross the NYC Marathon finish line). My experience as both an athlete and patient shape my care approach - I’m here to listen, guide and work alongside you to create an individualized path towards your wellness goals.

While I no longer compete on a track, I am still an avid runner and enjoy participating in road races (10mi, HM, M). Peloton, strength training and pilates round out my wellness routine. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, exploring New York City’s museum and theater scene and perfecting my banana bread recipe.

I look forward to working with you!
