Join us for a relaxing and educational meditation session hosted by Stephanie Shane, founder of House of Physical Therapy. Attendance is free. Please RSVP so we don't start without you!

Mind Guided Meditation

We provide leading organizations with in-office meditation sessions, structured around the principles of (1) education and (2) practice

We educate participants on the science and emerging research supporting meditation, as well as provide instruction around how to properly meditate — correcting misconceptions and maximizing benefits from the practice.


In his recent study, "'Mindful People' Feel Less Pain", Fadel Zeidan, Ph.D. states, "[meditation] may prove to be an effective way to provide pain relief for the millions of people suffering from chronic pain".

Meditation strengthens focus, attention and awareness. This translates to better form, greater endurance, fewer injuries, and accelerated recovery.

Meditation builds mind muscle (literally). UWisconsin found that meditation thickens the brain's gray matter, enhancing central nervous system and immune function. This means fewer days off, faster recovery and optimal performance.

Meditation enables us to meet our goals. Harvard found that a consistent practice redirects brain activity from the reactionary part of the brain (the limbic system) to the rational part of the brain (the prefrontal cortex). This enables us to utilize stronger executive control and carry out goal-oriented behavior.

Meditation allows for better workouts. According to the Journal of Health Psychology, meditation directly increased motivation to exercise regularly. Plus, it provides greater workout satisfaction afterwards.
